HOFFMAN HOUSE

Roger and Melanie Hoffman have been writing, producing and performing together since 1982. Together, they have written and recorded more than 200 songs.

Roger's appearances on CD include solos with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and dozens of other recorded works. He is an active music producer in Utah.

Roger and Melanie have traveled to many states in the U.S. and to Jerusalem singing and sharing the Gospel.

Roger has written many songs, including "Consider the Lilies," the title song of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's best-selling CD. His most recent endeavors include arranging and producing a "Greatest Hymns" CD series including the works of Eliza R. Snow and Parley P. Pratt. He has received awards (CLIO, Addy, Telly) and written for award-winning projects (Peabody, New York Film Festival).

Melanie's many children's songs are found in the Scripture Scouts, Allabouts, and Alexander's Amazing Adventures series, as well as the CD, "Happy Happy Joy Joy Joy!"

In 1992 Roger and Melanie formed Hoffman House, Inc. and have released 6 CDs of their work.. Their most recent project, written with Marvin Payne and Steven Kapp Perry, is a new Scripture Scouts series based on the Family Proclamation, published by Deseret Book. They are presently developing “Scripture Scouts TV,” a groundbreaking new television series for children that teaches the joyous doctrines of the restoration.
Among Roger and Melanie's writing credits are works for National Geographic TV and"Touched by an Angel."
The Hoffmans have four sons who are now using their talents in the media to bless the world.

	Parley P. Pratt's Greatest Hymns This album captures the spirit of the Restoration, a time like no other in the earth’s history, in the words of the poet-apostle, Parley P. Pratt. Parley was one of the first apostles and one who knew Joseph Smith personally.		Eliza R. Snow's Greatest Hymns Working with Eliza R. Snow's hymns has been a very humbling experience. The task set before me by my partner, Pete Peterson, whose idea this was, was to make Sister Snow's messages live for another generation of faithful saints.
